These are some key takeaways from the video:
- Smaato is a mobile RTB ad exchange platform, as well as a supply side platform that helps connect publishers looking to monetize their inventory with demand partners from around the world. Smaato currently has over 76,000 publishers on board and over 240 demand partners that are looking to buy mobile ad inventory.
- Smaato is a mobile only platform whose main focus is on real time bidding. Their main objective is to help advertisers buy inventory from publishers in real time and operates somewhat similar to a real-time auction. However, Smaato is interesting in that the winning bidder for the inventory only pays the second highest bid price, which they call the “second auction model.”
