These are some key takeaways from the video:
- Flipora is a site that recommends other websites for you to visit based on your interests. You can personalize your experience by connecting with Facebook, following other users, or downloading the Flipora add-on and installing it in your browser. It’s a great tool for discovering, exploring, and sharing websites and content that are relevant to your preferences. So far, Flipora has a user base of 30 million people worldwide and is rapidly growing.
- In the interview, Jonathan tells Murray that there is currently no way to buy traffic on Flipora, and that the best way to generate extra traffic from the site is to submit blog posts, articles, and other types of content. “You can pick a topic that you want to put your website under, so for example, if you have a blog post on search engine optimization, you could put it under than topic on Flipora and if it resonates with the Flipora user base…then you would automatically get traffic,” Jonathan said.
- For now, publishers have to submit articles individually, but Jonathan says that Flipora is willing to work with larger publishers on an RSS feed type of relationship so that Flipora users could get a steady stream of content from their favorite publishers without the publishers having to submit each and every individual piece of content.
