  • Spend time on Strategy – that’s the key to getting the best results from the email campaign.
  • Test the email – not only the subject line but also content, layout and images.
  • Send at the right time – schedule your email earlier/later in the day so the recipients will be more likely to open them than at the peak hours.
  • Design for Mobile – 75% of smartphone owners are likely to delete the email if they can’t read it on the phone!
  • Add a personal touch – make each one of your subscribers feel special.

The general rule of thumb is to think that you are writing an email to your good friend. Never take your subscribers’ attention for granted, prove your value to them, keep it short and add a personal touch.
