In a recent interview from Apps World in San Francisco, Sean Lynch from Dropbox chats with TheMail about how Dropbox is working alongside tons of app developers to help streamline the user experience across all devices and help users access their files from wherever life may take them.

These are some key takeaways from the video:

  • Sean is a product manager for the developer platform at Dropbox. In the interview he tells us that the chief aim of Dropbox is to enable their users to take their beloved files wherever they go and access them from anywhere or any device quickly and easily. He says that using Dropbox is easy for desktop users, but because of the siloing that happens on mobile, things become a little more challenging to streamline the user experience.
  • Sean says that Dropbox relies a lot on mobile app developers to help them create a better mobile experience because they help Dropbox connect to their mobile users and learn about challenges so that they can address them.
