In a recent interview from the Rakuten LinkShare Symposium in San Francisco, Anupam Agarwal from Walmart Labs chats with TheMail about Walmart’s affiliate program and where he expects to see big data and affiliate marketing go in 2014.

  • Anupam told us that in 2014 Walmart Labs is looking to grow with the help of Rakuten LinkShare, who they have been partners with for a number of years. He also explained that he is looking for Walmart Labs publishers to use the data that they have collected in order to serve highly targeted ads and increase conversions. Anupam said that Walmart has been collecting customer data and studying it for over three years so that their publishers know exactly who their customers are, what their interested in, and how to convert their search into a sale.
