To be launched Tuesday next week Search Explorer By Majestic SEO should be interesting to watch. Search Explorer launched in Alpha a “a specialized search engine which ranks pages based on how influential on the web graph they are based on a given search phrase – See more at: http://blog.majesticseo.com/development/announcing-search-explorer/#sthash.i10Qg9Db.dpuf”. Well it is coming out of alpha.

No one would be crazy enough to launch their own search engine right…. “Majestic is also proud to be a European based search engine and moving forward will also look to develop market share in its own right.

For now Search Explorer is aimed at the SEO community but it will be interesting to see how it shapes up with the other engines for providing results. We will know if something is happening if we start to see paid results on the right hand side.

Why should you care?

by showing users exactly HOW we rank results on the fly. Showing this level of transparency at this level of scale has never been done by the main search engines” If you interested in who is linking to your competitors and with which terms they are linking then this will be a great start for you.

When the site goes live it there will be more information at http://blog.majesticseo.com/development/majestic-rank-factors/
