In a recent interview from this year’s AdTech conference in New York City, Carla McMorris from Cardlytics chats with TheMail about the unique services provided by Cardlytics and what types of campaigns are most profitable for the company.

In the interview, Carla explains that Cardlytics is an advertising company that helps banks advertise to their customers via their personal bank statements, helping drum up business for advertisers and banks alike in a place where ads are rather unexpected.

To find out how Cardlytics does this, as well as the types of ads that work best through this means of marketing, watch the video below:

These are some key takeaways from the video:

  • Cardlytics works with 400 banks nationwide to help them advertise to their customers on their individual bank statements.
  • Advertisers that tend to benefit most from Cardlytics special brand of marketing are ones that have a lot of brick and mortar locations, such as large retailers, as well as big digital online properties, and brands.
  • The ads served by Cardlytics are segmented based on the purchase data of individual customers, allowing them to target customers based on their actual, recent purchase behavior.
  • Cardlytics are showing over 35 million ads per month, and that number grows during the upcoming holiday season.
