In a recent interview from AdTech in New York City, Jeff McCollum talks about the growth of his company CAKE Marketing, as well as the launch of their latest product.
In the interview, Jeff explains that his company has always strived to be innovative in the performance marketing industry, which is what enabled CAKE to grow the into the worldwide marketing company it is today. Jeff also mentioned that CAKE’s drive to do things differently is what led the company to developing and launching their retail based product that enables their clients to track products at the SKU level.

These are some key takeaways from the video:
With the closing of GAN, CAKE saw an opportunity to enter the retail space and developed a new product to enable their clients “to take product feeds and distribute those products out into the ecosystem,” Jeff explained.
With the new product, CAKE is now working both with retailers and affiliate marketers and connecting the two marketplaces unlike it has previously been done.
The larger brands are traditionally hesitant to jump on the affiliate train when it comes to retail, but CAKE claims that they are able to offer another solution, help save money, and provide more market share.
