AppLift is a company that we’ve been getting used to seeing at all of the major affiliate and mobile conferences in the US, so it came as no surprise that we found AppLift’s Stephen Chung at the China International Affiliate Conference last month. AppLift, the mobile games marketing distribution platform, is making moves to expand into the Asian market, telling us that the growth potential that they see, specifically in China, is what brought them to the conference. Chung told us that the company’s main motivation is to provide their Western advertisers with a way to break into the sizable Asian market, a feat that few companies have managed to accomplish so far.
“It’s almost an enigma for a lot of Western, a lot of non-Chinese advertisers to get in here. They see the potential but there’s no gateway to get in,” Chung explained. “For us, we’re working on being the premier gateway partner for advertisers, for everyone around the world to get in. And for us, the affiliate market is super interesting here and we’re seeing that there’s a lot of demand for not just volume but for quality users which is why AppLift, we’ve been focusing a lot on bringing high quality traffic, specifically when it comes to lifetime value.”
