Link monetization and optimization is VigLink’s specialty. Over the years, the company has gathered tons of data regarding affiliate payouts, and also created software that enables their clients to receive the highest payout possible for their links. Thus, with the constant barrage of advertiser data that VigLink receives, the company assembles a monthly “Advertiser 50” report—a veritable “Top 50” list that ranks the top 50 advertisers by their earnings per click (EPC), from highest to lowest.

VigLink has indexed their top 50 advertisers to illustrate the differences between them, using a ranking of 100 as the average EPC. Thus, an index of 1,000 would suggest that the advertiser’s EPC is 10 times the average EPC.

According to VigLink, “The top advertisers are willing to pay the highest bounties for traffic and sales. For publishers creating content, we strongly recommend linking to these advertisers as appropriate.”
