Affiliate Summit is one of the most anticipated events of the year for Internet marketers, and 2013’s event was definitely one for the record books. With hundreds of affiliates, advertisers, publishers, and networks in attendance, TheMail was fortunate to meet and interview people from all walks of the industry. For all of our exclusive video interviews from ASE 2013, visit our Affiliate Summit hub HERE.
At this year’s Affiliate Summit East in Philadelphia we saw a lot of emerging new technologies, companies, and trends from across the entire digital marketing landscape, including new tracking platforms, new mobile offer aggregates, and even new corporate partnerships. But, while we’ve done our best to keep TheMail’s readers up to speed with what’s happening in the online marketing world, we also wanted to get a different perspective, so when we caught up with VigLink CEO Oliver Roup, we made sure to ask him what he was seeing at this year’s conference.
“Well, great show as always. We attend every year but haven’t done a booth previously but we’re excited to have one this year,” he told us. “Really I’m sort of amazed at the diversity of people I’ve met. I’d say the two stand outs for me are a lot of toolbar and software people are looking to monetize, and a lot of people looking to buy traffic on keywords out of organic content, and certainly the latter is right in our wheelhouse and so stay tuned for news from us on that.”
