The man behind Offer Snitch is working on a brand new venture, and during our time at Affiliate Summit East, we had the great fortune of interviewing Internet marketing veteran Ian Fernando about his “Internet marketing collections agency.”

“I just started an Internet marketing collections agency, basically it’s a database of people that owes money,” he told us. “Basically we aggregate a lot of the data. So say that ten people owe money, we put that in the database and if somebody wants to look up an advertiser before they work with them, they can search their name and if there’s a hold in value of how much they owe, they can decide  if they want to work with that person or not.”

According to Ian, his new business has a sliding fee scale for users that’s based upon the amount of money that his company collects.

“We collect at the whole aggregated level, not just on a per client basis,” Ian explained. “So if somebody owes ten people $10,000, we try to collect 10,000 and spread that out to whoever’s owed the most, and then the fees very from close to two to three percent, to maybe up to 15 percent, depending on how much we collect.”

For more information on Ian’s new venture, tune into the full interview above, and check out his website at http://ianfernando.com.
