TheMail is back once again with another video interview from the Casual Connect conference that was held recently in San Francisco. In this video, we’re speaking with Appier Client Development Director Da Hsia about Appier’s technology, as well as what is big in the Asian marketplace at the moment. With offices in San Francisco and Taipei, and founded just a year ago, Appier sets out to make global mobile marketing “easier and happier.”
How do they do this? Well, Appier utilizes AI and real-time bidding technology to make the most out of their advertising impressions and help develop smart and cost-effective mobile ad campaigns for their clients. Appier’s current focus is on the Asian market, where Da told us they’ve experienced great results in China, Korea, and Japan.
“What’s working really well in Asia right now is branding actually, branding campaigns specifically, like Estee Lauder and L’oreal” he told us. “Those kinds of advertisers, they’re trying because they all know that Asia is a growing market, especially from last year to this year. So, more and more they’re shifting to branding in Asia specifically.”
