During TheMail’s visit to the Casual Connect conference in San Francisco, it seemed as though many of the ad networks and developers were focused on the same aspects of the mobile gaming industry—buying, selling, and monetizing mobile game applications. Well, after visiting a handful of booths at the show, we began to wonder if we would come across a company who didn’t either develop games, or serve ads through those games. But, despite our rapidly growing skepticism, we eventually found a company that was doing things a little different, and that company was PaeDae.

PaeDae is an in-game reward platform that partners with game developers to match them with rewards from top brands that fit their demographic.Once we understood what PaeDae does, we inquired about the monetization processes that PaeDae’s technology enables developers.

“We do real world prizes,” Andrea told us. “A couple of examples are what we have here like Airwalks, we have Jack In The Box gift cards, we have Amazon gift cards…so it’s real world, it’s not virtual currency.”
