This time, we’re speaking with Nicole DeMeo, the VP of Marketing and Strategic Relations at AppLift, a mobile games marketing platform that helps advertisers acquire loyal, quality gaming users at scale on a CPI basis.
AppLift’s goal, as Nicole tells us in her interview, is to help games reach the top by providing loyal users and maximizing their ROI, a feat the company accomplishes by optimizing a game’s app store ranking and targeting the widest range of traffic sources available.
“We’re working with a lot of game developers and publishers, and certainly the trend is that developers want higher ROI for their users,” said Nicole. “They want to see a high quality user who’s not gonna just go away and maybe not monetize well, so we in turn, are very focused on the types of ad and affiliate networks and ads that we deliver to generate those higher quality players for our game developer partners. It’s not just about volume—those were the old days—now we have to return on those.”
