In yet another interview from the Casual Connect conference in San Francisco, TheMail’s Murray Newlands is chatting with RTB.com’s Charlie Faulkner about his company and the trends that they’ve been seeing in the mobile space recently.
RTB.com, formerly Manage.com, is a performance-based Mobile DSP (Demand-Side Platform) that specializes in real-time bidding on behalf of their clients. After Charlie shared RTB.com’s impressive list of services, we asked him about the trends that his company has been seeing in the mobile channel, and like most mobile advertisers, he told us that direct response offers have been really promising for RTB.com.
“All those direct response sectors, so gaming is huge for us; freemium gaming companies on mobile on both iOS and Android is probably our biggest sector,” Charlie told us. “As you said, dating is also very big for us, real money gambling in regulated markets is big, and we’re beginning to see more opportunities in the brand side and that excites us, and that excites us where that will open up, probably in sic months time.”
