In this episode of TheMail, Murray sits down with Engage BDR’s VP of Business Development Ed Lee to talk about the LA-based company’s latest Audience Extension product—a tool that allows publishers to “increase their top-line revenue by selling traffic outside of its own site.”
When we asked Ed about the benefits of the audience extension product, he told us that the tool would enable users to take on more clients and added impressions which will ultimately increase their revenue.
“A lot of publishers, they currently can’t take on a lot of RFPs or proposals from clients because they have x amount of impressions on their site, but now they’re able to take on that additional revenue by utilizing our network,” Ed explained.”
Later in the interview Ed tells us how Engage BDR is able to ensure that their clients ads are making their way on to great sites, and also gives us an example of how publishers can use cookie data with audience extension.
