Yes—LevelUp Ads has recently been acquired by 1Rebel Studio, the San Francisco-based SaaS analytics and tracking technology company. However, the acquisition comes as no surprise, as LevelUp Ads has been using 1Rebel’s tracking platform and patent pending Video Content Locker technology for a while, giving LevelUp “a competitive edge,” according to last week’s press release. With this acquisition, 1Rebel Studio will emerge as the industry’s first SaaS tracking solution to offer it’s customers a superior tracking platform with the most advanced Incentivized Content Locking technology currently available at no additional developmental cost.  It’s features will include:

  • Video Content Locker (patent pending)
  • JavaScript Locker
  • HTML Locker
  • Product Locker
  • Short URL Locker
  • Flash Locker

With these tools, 1Rebel Studio provides users the ability to maximize their revenue potential with any incentivize offer inventory.

When asked how this acquisition will help people, CEO and Co-founder Andre Ramsey replied, “I believe this acquisition will help people in our industry by affording network owners, advertisers, and affiliates that are interested in starting their own networks instant access to 1Rebel’s tracking solution under a SaaS licensing agreement. “

In a press release to LevelUp Ads partners, Ramsey wrote:

“Our focus with LevelUp Ads has always been to help our advertisers and publishers increase their overall earnings while offering the best offers, superior support, and cutting edge technology available. It gave us great joy to spearhead the industry’s first Video Content Locker™; a technology that helped so many go from making minimal earnings from their web properties traffic to profiting on their traffic.
With that in mind, I’m pleased to inform you that LevelUp Ads, LLC is being acquired by 1RebelStudio, LLC. 1RebelStudio is a SaaS tracking platform behind these amazing innovations, and this acquisition will open the door for so many to utilize this platform. However, this also means that we’ll be closing our doors and all traffic will be halted on May 31st, 2013. Have no fear, we will continue to provide support and our publishers can still expect prompt on-time payments.
I want to personally say “Thank You” to all our employees, publishers and advertisers for the amazing support and for believing in us. This has been an amazing journey traveled and we look forward to helping you grow your business as 1RebelStudio. To Request a demo of 1Rebel, please visit”

  1. Aren’t both of these companies already owned by Andre? One was his development company (1Rebel) the other the actual platform in use like a network (LevelUp).

He’s closing doors to the network to focus on building the technology for others to use. This isn’t an acquisition, it’s a termination of one failed org.
