At the 2013 RampUp Summit, hosted by Live Ramp, TheMail caught up with DJ Burdick of FluidAds to discuss the company’s platform and learn more about how publishers and advertisers can use FluidAds’ technology to capitalize on unused digital ad space.
“Basically we find unused space on publishers’ websites in real time, so as someone loads a webpage say on a big screen monitor, we’ll find space in the margins or in the content that’s unused and serve custom ads in real time,” DJ explained. “We can also do very cool things like serve rising star units, serve background skin takeovers…we can serve unique ads for tablets, for mobile devices. It’s basically a very flexible take on the old ad network model.”
