Recently, TheMail had the opportunity to travel to Mountain View, CA for Live Ramp’s 2013 RampUp Summit. While at the Computer History Museum, Murray was able to meet and interview a handful of Internet marketing industry leaders and innovators, including Adknowledge CEO Ben Legg.
During their interview, Ben explained the intricacies of his mobile marketing business, what Adknowledge does for its clients, and how it achieves its lofty goal of one million app installs per month.
“When it comes to mobile, the main thing we do in the space is we work with advertisers to get mobile app installs…It’s a really exciting growth part of our business,” Ben said. “We actually do it in, sort of, two ways: number one is we already own AdParlor—AdParlor is a strategic partner of Facebook—and we run campaigns; Facebook has fantastic mobile inventory, and we use that for driving mobile installs. But, we also have a team focused on how do you drive installs from all the other parts of the digital landscape, which is probably much more complicated, but also is generating great results. So we’ve kind of got two irons in the fire, and both are doing well right now.”
