What’s the secret to success in the affiliate marketing industry? Well according to Chase Puckett and Diablo Media, it’s all about keeping your publishers happy.

TheMail had a chance to talk to Chase, an affiliate manager at Denver-based Diablo Media, at the recent affiliate meetup in Denver. In his interview, Murray picked Chase’s brain about what it means to be an affiliate manager, as well as what Diablo Media has done to set themselves apart as a network.

“My job is just to keep my publisher base happy,” Chase explains, “find them offers that they need, make sure that they’re paid on time; make sure they’re as successful as we are.” He also says that in order to cultivate fruitful relationships with his affiliates, he makes it a point to have personal relationships with them and “tailor-fitting each approach to the specific publisher.”

In the end, it seems as though it is these personal relationships that are proving to make all the difference for Diablo Media, and is an approach that every network should be taking in order to keep both their affiliates and advertisers happy, and making money.

TheMail’s full interview with Chase is at the top of the page, and as always, leave your comments below.
