If you have been following TheMail, you’ve probably noticed that while we were at the Denver Affiliate Meetup, we spent a lot of time at the Diablo Media offices getting to know the company and their staff. Murray met with account executives, affiliate managers, the VP of sales, and in the latest episode of TheMail, he is sitting down with Diablo’s Director of Business Development Rochelle Emerson.
After spending a good bit of time with the Diablo crew, we noticed one deeply rooted, recurring theme—a company culture that was personable as well as professional. In fact, it quickly became obvious that every member of Diablo’s team was extremely well-versed in all-things online marketing, but their service didn’t stop there—Diablo makes it a point to get to know their clients on a personal level, not just on a professional level.
One of the staff members who is spearheading that charge is Rochelle Emerson, an advertising veteran who’s amidst a new role as Director of Business Development at Diablo. While she is taking on unfamiliar responsibilities in her new role, she looks at it as a benefit, rather than a hindrance.
“The move benefiting publishers is I know exactly what they’re looking for, I know what they want, and I’m able to cultivate the relationships that I have with advertisers now and really get them exactly what they want.”
